Cosmetics and personal care industry in Norway - statistics & facts
The Norwegian cosmetics and personal care market’s revenue is steadily increasing. In 2025, it amounted to over 1.6 billion U.S. dollars, with personal care constituting the largest segment. The industry’s revenue is projected to grow to 1.85 billion U.S. dollars by 2030. Along with the revenue increase, the consumer price index (CPI) for beauty and personal care is at its peak in 2024. The CPI of hairdressing salons and personal grooming establishments reached 140.2 (2015 = 100), while the index reached 120.8 for appliances, articles, and products for personal care.
