Household spending on liquid refreshments in Russia has remained relatively stable over the years, ranging between 1.5 percent and 1.8 percent of total expenditure. Furthermore, the domestic production of non-alcoholic drinks in the country followed an upward trend until 2022, but decreased in 2023. Like many other industries, non-alcoholic beverages suffered noticeable setbacks in 2022 due to economic sanctions and companies leaving Russia in response to the invasion of Ukraine. However, given the expansion of domestic alternatives, the revenue generated by the market is expected to increase to 13.5 million U.S. dollars in 2029.
