Seasonal holidays bring peak business for anyone selling confectionery. Regular chocolate and candy get competition in the form of special seasonal products. Bunny and egg-shaped confectionery in special displays appear in the stores of countries celebrating Easter. Despite this well-established routine, companies have not stopped bringing new seasonal offerings to market. Especially in the United Kingdom, innovators do not rest, having made 16 percent of all new Easter chocolate products worldwide in 2022/2023. Chocolate export leader Germany accounted for about half as many new chocolate innovations for Easter.
