Calzedonia - statistics & facts
One of Italy’s leading fashion groups, Calzedonia and its array of brands are well-known among consumers in several parts of the world. The Calzedonia Group focuses mainly on the production and retailing of hosiery, underwear, and swimwear for women, men, and kids. Since its founding in 1986, the Group has come a long way and, despite a small setback in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it has overall recorded increasing growth and expanded its presence not only across Italy but also abroad. As of fiscal year 2024, Calzedonia’s revenues amounted to over three and a half billion euros, a remarkable increase compared to a only a year before. A year later, the Group announced the adoption of a new name, Oniverse, which is an anagram of the founder's surname, Veronesi, but also represents the "universe" of the fashion group.
